Overview : - Your first day tour plan commences with your pick up from Delhi hotel and drive towards Agra where you visit the world heritage city Fatehpur Sikri. After Fatehpur Sikri visit the tomb of Itmad-ud-Daula. During sunset take a visit to Mehtab Bagh where you can see the Taj Mahal from the backside. Next Day visit Taj Mahal and other Agra highlights.
Day 1: Delhi –Fatehpur Sikri - Agra
Early morning we pick you up from Delhi / Jaipur. Drive would take nearly 4 hours, enroute you would stop at Fatehpur Sikri popularly known as the deserted city or lost city. This was once the capital of the Mughal dynasty and presently is the UNESCO protected monument. This city was built by the emperor Akbar who shifted the capital from Agra to this place. Major building to visit inside are Deevan-i-am, Deevan –i- khas, Panch Mahal, Turkish Sultana’s Palace, Sheikh Saleem Chisti’s Shrine etc. After the visit is over you drive towards Agra for one hour and check in the hotel. Our representative comes to assist and brief you. Then the India Tourists guide tour of Agra city starts. Tour includes the visit of the Tomb of Itmad-Ud-Daula popularly called Baby Taj and Mehtab Bagh, from the beautiful garden of Mehtab Bagh you can enjoy and capture shots of the rear view of the Taj. Day 02: –AGRA Tour - Delhi Drop
This morning early rise to enjoy the sunrise at the Taj Mahal. Our expert Guide is going to narrate to you all the stories and the historical facts of the Taj. This world wonder took 22 years time to complete and is based on Indo- Persian architecture. The cenotaph is beautifully inlaid with semi- precious stones. After the visit is over you return back to the hotel to have breakfast and shower. Then an opportunity for you to see how the inlay work is done in a marble factory.Your tour also includes the visit of the Agra fort which was the first capital of the mughals and the palaces for most of the great Mughal rulers. Worth visit palaces are Jahangeeri palace, Shahjahani palace, Mussamman Burj, Deewan-i- aam, Deewan-i-khas etc. After the visit of Fort you drive to the city to visit Radha Swami temple called swami Bagh and the Tomb of Emperor Akbar at Sikandra. In Sikandra you can also see rare antelopes and black faced monkeys called Langoors. Now is the time for you to stroll in the busy local bazaar.
