SAME DAY AGRA TOUR BY TRAIN

We pick you up in the early morning from your hotel to transfer you to the railway station to catch a train from New Delhi railway station. The train starts at 6 am and reaches Agra at 8:00 AM. Breakfast will be provided in the Agra Tour By Train itself. On your arrival at Agra cant railway station our company representative comes to receive you and he will introduce you to your expert tour guide.

The tour of Agra starts with the visit of The Taj Mahal, a symbol of love. You will be taken to The Taj Mahal in a golf cart. This was built by the third Mughal emperor Akabar on the remains of a previous mud Fort called Badalgarh. Later on, many palaces were added by his descendants namely- Jahangeer and Shahjahan. Famous buildings housed inside are Deewan-I- Aam, Deewan-i-Khas, Jahangeeri palace, Angoori Bagh and Mussaman Burj etc. There is a balcony from where Shahjahan used to gaze at the Taj during his last years and ultimately died over there.

After the visit of the Agra Highlights is over we arrange your lunch at Indian Restaurant. Your post-lunch is an excursion to Fatehpur Sikri which is 40 km away, You will have a chance to explore the countryside. Fatehpur Sikri is the third UNESCO protected monument in Agra like The Taj Mahal and Agra Fort. This was the second capital city of Akbar after Agra worth visit monuments inside Fatehpur Sikri are Deewan-I-AAm, Deewan-I-Khas, Panch Mahal, Turkish Sultan’s Palace, Jodhabai’s Place, etc. you also visit the religious part which includes the visit of Jami Mosque and the shrine of the great Sufi Saint Saleem Chishti.

After Fatehpur Sikri’s visit, you return back to Agra and if you like you can visit the local bazaar. After having some refreshment your departure at Agra Cantt Railway station to catch the luxury train at 9:15 P.M.
