Pilgrimage sites of North India is 17 days long tour plan. The tour starts from Delhi and covers Udaipur, Jodhpur, Pushkar, Jaipur, Agra, Orchha, Khajuraho and Varanasi. This tour plan suites to those who are culture and history loving tourists, you will certainly mesmerized by the bygone history of India.
Day 01: Your Destination / New Delhi
Day 02: Arrival / New Delhi
Day 03: Delhi
Today, do a tour for New Delhi, Evening, participate in a food and walking tour of the back streets of Old Delhi
Day 04: Delhi / Udaipur (Flight)
This morning we fly to the city of lakes – Udaipur. Welcome to Udaipur, the famed “City of sunrise”. Afternoon, we enjoy a boat cruise on the beautiful Lake Pichola. Also, walks through the bustling bazaars of the old city.
Day 05: Udaipur
Morning, tour of this “Lake City”. Afternoon at leisure for shopping
Day 06: Udaipur / Ranakpur / Jodhpur (280 Kms) (05 Hrs Drive)
Drive to Jodhpur enroute visiting Ranakpur – Jain Temple. Afternoon, we would ride horse carriages to the Clock Tower Bazaar. This is one of India’s largest and most colorful open to sky bazaar.
Day 07: Jodhpur
Guided tour of Jodhpur visiting the massive Mehrangarh Fort and the royal Crematorium. Afternoon at leisure. Car and driver available for local visits.
Day 08: Jodhpur
Today we will proceed for an unique desert off-road experience through the semi arid desert of Rajasthan that shelters showcase local communities, tribal culture and local wildlife.
Day 09: Jodhpur / Pushkar (190 Kms) (04 Hrs Drive)
Drive to Pushkar. Afternoon, we walk through this amazingly fascinating religious town
Day 10: Pushkar / Jaipur (150 Kms) (03 Hrs Drive)
Drive to Jaipur. Afternoon, explore the unending shopping options of Jaipur with your Guide. Cuisine Walk & A Traditional Rajasthani Meal With An Indian Family
Day 11: Jaipur
This morning we visit Amber Fort. Following our visit of the Amber Fort, we proceed on a tour Of the City Palace & Observatory
Day 12: Jaipur / Fatehpur Sikri / Agra (245 Kms) (06 Hrs Drive)
Drive to Agra stopping at deserted capital city of Fatehpur Sikri. At sunset we visit one of the greatest sights of one’s lifetime – Taj Mahal.
Day 13: Agra / Jhansi (Train) / Orchha / Khajuraho
Early morning, transfer to train station to board your train to Jhansi. Upon arrival, drive to Orchha & proceed on a guided tour of the city. Enjoy lunch at in Orchha. Later, drive to Khajuraho, Evening, we visit temple complex to witness the Sound & Light Show.
Day 14: Khajuraho
Today, proceed on a tour of the world famous western & eastern group of temples.
Day 15: Khajuraho / Varanasi (Flight)
Varanasi is quite possibly the world’s oldest living city. Evening, we visit the ghats of Varanasi to witness the performance of Ganges Aarti.
Day 16: Varanasi
At dawn we visit the sacred Ganges for a boat ride. Later, we will visit several temples and the Hindu University. Also, a short excursion outside of the city is undertaken for a tour of Sarnath – the venue where Budhha preached his first sermons after gaining enlightenment.
Day 17: Varanasi / Delhi / Departure
Morning free to visit the banks of the Ganges or walk along the narrow meandering lanes of the old city to witness the performance of various rituals. Afternoon wind your way homeward via a flight to Delhi. Upon arrival in Delhi, transit, short stay and an added overnight would be suggested to suit your flight connection.
